Chocolate Chia Pudding

This recipe is a delicious sweet treat that is a great source of healthy fat and protein. It is deeply satisfying for that sweet or chocolate craving. Pacifying for both vata and pitta.

Ingredients:

13.5 oz coconut milk

1/4 cup maple syrup

3 tablespoons of cocoa or cacao powder

1/4 cup chia seeds

pinch of pink seat salt

splash of vanilla or orange extract or some lemon, lime, or orange zest really brightens up the flavor

Combine ingredients well in a large bowl or mason jar. Stir every 15 minutes or so the first 30-60 minutes to keep the chia from clumping. (I like to make this recipe when I am in the kitchen preparing or cooking other things as it is not much work but requires a baby-sitter the first 30-60 minutes to keep it from clumping.)
